Coming from backgrounds in music and the healing arts Crystal Cymbalogy is a true marriage of Rick and Cynthia Quintanal's unique talents. These days it seems that there is very little time and space for quiet and re-a-tuning with our true nature and soul. The modern living that we share offers very little pure sound. We are barraged by a cacophony of electric hum and vibrations of which we have very little to no control. It is our mission to re-a-tune the listener to their highest vibration and re-align their bodies toward wholeness. In this way we can align deeply with our true nature and purpose.
At a typical event the bowls are first played individually as an introduction to you. Then, Cynthia and Rick play patterns of sound combining bowls, drums, cymbals,and other instrumentation to create a meditative journey. At the end of the journey, more rythmic music is played to help you ground and integrate your experience. At some events, we move into Kirtan (sacred chanting) and /or the band plays original music.
Crystal Cymbalogy is available for corporate events, home concerts, retreats and concerts at other venues.
